Budapest Scientology Community Marks 10-Year Milestone

Nearly 500 Scientologists gathered in Budapest to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Budapest Ideal Organization on Váci Road.

Inaugurated ten years ago, the six-storey religious news europawahl centre has become an important meeting place for the Hungarian Scientology community. The anniversary included a religious service, musical performances, a photographic and video retrospective and a presentation looking toward the coming years.

Over its first ten years, the Budapest church has also hosted community programmes ranging from drug prevention and human-rights education to humanitarian and interfaith initiatives. These activities are connected with social betterment programmes inspired by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
